Stainless steel auger (worm screw) for Fama size 12 meat mincers, reference F53 — also compatible with the Fama FTG102 / TG12 mincer-grater and its matching grater unit.

The auger is the screw that draws the meat from the feed throat towards the cutting set (cross knife + perforated plate), generating the pressure that pushes the mince through the holes. It works constantly under load and is a wear part: when the flight edge rounds off, feeding pressure drops and the meat advances with difficulty, comes out crushed or heats up.

This is the stainless steel version, more hygienic and corrosion-resistant than the aluminium and cast iron variants of the same size (both in our catalogue): the recommended choice for intensive use and daily processing. The Fama FTG102/TG12 mincer-grater is fitted with an all-stainless-steel mincing assembly (750 W motor, 230/400V three-phase power supply).

For a clean mince, pair the auger with a knife and plate in good condition from the same size 12 system. Wash and dry after each use.
