The stainless steel mozzarella-shredding cone with 7 mm hole (code F2182) is the cone-shaped disc fitted onto the electric mozzarella cutter to shred mozzarella into strands, giving it the classic stringy texture used for pizza topping, slicing and other food-service preparations.

Made entirely of stainless steel, the cone is perforated with 7 mm holes: this size produces a medium-thick shredded strand, suited to pizza mozzarella and medium-yield processing.

It fits TMC-series electric mozzarella cutters (e.g. FTMC100, FTMC102), on which the perforated cone is available in several interchangeable diameters for the same machine body (2.5 mm for soft or lightly aged cheeses, 4 mm and 7 mm for coarser shredding and julienne cuts).

Replace the cone when the holes wear down or enlarge (uneven shredding, mozzarella that crumbles instead of stretching), when burrs or sharp edges appear on the inner rim (uneven drag), or if dents prevent it from rotating smoothly against the blade.
