Stainless steel plate for size 8 meat mincers, single-notch version, with a plate diameter of 61.5 mm. It is the standard universal replacement plate for size 8 (TC8) meat mincers, compatible with most machines of this size regardless of brand.

The grinding hole is available in a choice of diameters:

• 4.5 mm
• 6 mm
• 8 mm

The hole diameter determines the grinding consistency: smaller holes for a fine mince, larger holes for a coarser grind. The plate should be replaced when the holes become worn, oval-shaped or rounded at the edges: in this condition the meat tends to be crushed and overheated instead of being cleanly cut, resulting in lower yield and a poorer-quality mince.
