Stainless steel mozzarella-shredding cone with a 2.5 mm hole, for grating and shredding soft or lightly aged cheeses.

This is the perforated cone that fits in place of the standard plate on a meat mincer (e.g. model 12): the cheese is pushed against the rotating cone and shredded through the holes instead of being extruded as in meat mincing. The 2.5 mm hole produces a fine shred, suited to mozzarella and soft or lightly aged cheeses; for harder cheeses or a coarser shred, cones with a larger hole (e.g. 4 mm) are used.

Compatible with model 12 meat mincers and mozzarella cutters set up to fit stainless steel perforated cones.
