The auger is the screw that pushes the meat toward the perforated plate during mincing: on CGT mod. 32 Mec machines it is made of cast 18/8 stainless steel to resist wear and corrosion from contact with meat. When the auger is worn, its thread is consumed, or the pin is damaged, mincing becomes uneven or the machine struggles to feed the product: in that case it must be replaced with this stainless steel spare part complete with pin, dedicated to the CGT size-32 meat mincer.
