Interlock assembly for the sail-shaped blade guard ("vela") on FIA/Atoma family slicers. The interlock mechanism prevents the guard or the carriage from moving out of its correct position, keeping the blade edge protected whenever the slicer is not actively cutting and reducing the risk of accidental contact with the blade.
