The stainless steel cap is a finishing cover that fits onto the support foot of the Berkel BKL115 slicer (Berkel 115), the classic flywheel slicer. The foot bears the weight of the machine and keeps it stable on the worktop; the cap covers and finishes it, protecting the base and hiding the fixing point for a tidy, snag-free look. Made of stainless steel, it resists corrosion, is easy to clean and matches the machine's other metal parts, which matters in a food-preparation environment. It's a small, inexpensive spare part that still matters: over time it can get dented, scratched, dull or simply lost during cleaning and handling of the slicer, and that's when it should be replaced with a new one to keep the base of the machine looking neat. Compatible with the Berkel BKL115 (Berkel 115) slicer, ref. AGWSAFF0044.
