This closed-loop band blade fits onto the pulleys of electric butcher's bone saws and is used to cut fresh beef, pork and lamb with bone still attached. The hardened teeth are designed for cutting durability but wear with use: when they become rounded or broken, the cut becomes uneven, the blade tends to slip or overheat, and it should be replaced to avoid damaging the motor or the machine's pulleys. The development length (closed loop length) must exactly match the length required by the bone saw it is fitted to.
