LOWER GLASS-CERAMIC PANEL FOR PD COOKING PLATE

Spare part: glass-ceramic surface for the lower section of the professional electric cooking plate, for units in the PD series. On these plates the cooking surface is made of two overlapping panels - a self-balancing upper one and a fixed lower one - and is also available with Ceran® glass-ceramic surfaces, valued for fast heat-up and easier cleaning compared to a traditional cast-iron plate. The glass-ceramic panel is the component in direct contact with the heating element underneath and with the food being cooked, so it must stay intact to ensure heat sealing and electrical safety. Replace it when the panel is cracked, chipped, or broken: a damaged panel can let liquids seep down to the heating element, risking a short circuit, and can also affect cooking uniformity.
