The abrasive net disc is the wear part of Sirman 20 kg PLP professional potato peelers: it is the rough surface on the bottom of the drum against which potatoes, carrots and vegetables are rotated to remove the skin by abrasion. It is a component that wears out naturally with use (the abrasive net loses its bite and the skin is no longer removed evenly): when peeling becomes slow or incomplete, the disc should be replaced to restore the machine's original performance.
The disc sits on the bottom of the peeler's drum. It is easy to fit and remove, normally without tools, both for replacement and for cleaning.
