Abrasive lining for Fimar PPF10/18M potato peeler, version for machines produced AFTER 28/01/08 (new type) — reference FIMTRI0146. It is the working abrasive surface of the potato peeler: rotating in contact with the product, it removes the skin of potatoes and vegetables by rubbing, helped by water that washes away the residues.

Check the production date of your machine: for PPF10/18 peelers built before 28/01/08 a different lining exists (reference FIMTRI0145); this version is the new type, for machines built after that date.

The abrasive lining is a consumable part: with use the grit becomes smooth and the machine takes longer and longer to peel, leaving skin residues and wasting more product. When peeling times increase noticeably or smooth areas appear, it is time to replace it to restore fast, even peeling.
