Blind filter for La Spaziale, used to wash and clean the brewing group of the coffee machine with the backflushing technique.

• Type: blind filter (no holes)
• Compatibility: La Spaziale coffee machines

Unlike a normal perforated filter, the blind filter does not let water pass through: fitted onto the portafilter and locked into the group, it allows pressurised water to flow backwards through the circuit, dislodging the oily coffee residue built up in the valve and the shower disc. It is used by starting the extraction for a few seconds, stopping it, and repeating the cycle several times; for a deeper clean, a coffee-machine-specific detergent is poured into the filter and the same cycle is repeated. It is good practice to carry out this cleaning periodically to keep the brewing group working efficiently.
