The snap-in shower screen for the Rancilio LE/S group is the perforated plate that clicks into place, without screws, in the brew group of Rancilio LE/S lever espresso machines. Its job is to evenly distribute hot water over the tamped coffee grounds in the portafilter during extraction, promoting a regular and balanced extraction.
- Reference code: 9.001.682
- Snap-in fitting, no screws required
- Compatible with the Rancilio LE/S lever group
It should be replaced when the holes become clogged with coffee residue, the surface is corroded or deformed, or when water no longer distributes evenly over the bottom of the portafilter: in these cases coffee extraction becomes uneven and the taste of the drink suffers.
