The 2-dose filter (double basket) fits inside the portafilter of Brasilia professional espresso machines and holds the amount of ground coffee needed to extract two espressos at the same time.
- Fits in place of the original basket, inside the portafilter of the brew group
- Distributes water and pressure evenly through the ground coffee during extraction
- Designed for the standard portafilters of Brasilia professional machines set up for the double dose
Replace it when the basket in use shows clogged or enlarged holes, deformation or wear: in these cases extraction becomes uneven, with coffee running too fast or dripping from the edges of the portafilter instead of the spout. For machines that brew a single dose at a time, a 1-dose version (single basket) is also available.
