Suction filter with cap for Nuova Simonelli Kiara series professional dishwashers. The filter protects the wash/suction pump from solid residues in the washing water, while the built-in cap allows the tank to be drained for cleaning and routine maintenance.

It should be inspected and cleaned regularly: when it is cracked, deformed or the cap no longer seals properly, water can leak from the tank or the pump can clog - a sign it needs to be replaced.
