The pressure switch is the component that detects, through a membrane connected to the level tube, the water/air pressure inside the wash tank and sends a signal to the electronic board to open or close the water inlet solenoid valve. In this way it ensures the correct fill level at every wash cycle. The 60-40 calibration indicates the intervention and reset thresholds at which the pressure switch opens and closes the contact.
