The 24 V AC plug-in solenoid valve coil is the electromagnetic component that controls the opening of the water solenoid valve in professional dishwashers and washing systems. When powered at 24 Volts AC it generates the magnetic field that lifts the valve core, allowing water to flow through; once power is removed the valve closes again.
