The NC (normally closed) contact for Giovenzana push-button panels is the auxiliary contact block fitted inside the button on control panels for slicers, meat mincers, graters and mixers. Being a normally closed contact, the circuit remains connected at rest and opens when the button is pressed: for this reason it is typically used in stop commands and safety interlocks. The solder pin version connects the wires by soldering instead of screw terminals.
