Rectangular magnetic sensor for detecting the position of guards and covers on food processing machines (slicers, meat grinders, dough mixers and similar). Like all magnetic sensors, it works without mechanical contact: it detects the presence of a matched magnet fitted on doors or guards, allowing the control unit to verify that the guard is properly closed before enabling the machine to start or operate.
Size: 37x16 mm, mounting hole centre distance 26 mm.
Replace it when the sensor no longer detects the guard closing, the machine fails to start, or a safety error is signalled even though the guard is correctly closed, or in case of visible damage to the sensor body or cables.
