The round magnet D.33 with D.18 hole is a ring-shaped permanent magnet with a central hole for fixing with a screw or pin, used as the reference element for magnetic safety sensors (micro sensors) that detect the closure of guards, covers and casings on food processing machines.
- Shape: round
- Outer diameter: 33 mm
- Centre hole diameter: 18 mm
Paired with its magnetic sensor/microswitch, the magnet lets the machine's electronics recognise whether the guard is correctly closed, a condition required for safe start-up. Replace it when it is demagnetised, cracked or broken, or when the associated sensor no longer correctly detects the guard's position, causing the machine to fail to start or to signal a safety error.
