The bipolar switch with 6 contacts is the electrical ON/OFF control mounted on professional graters, slicers and meat grinders. Being bipolar, it interrupts both poles of the power supply at the same time: when the machine is switched off, the motor is completely isolated from the mains, unlike simpler single-pole switches.
- Type: bipolar switch, 6 contacts
- Function: ON/OFF control
- Application: graters, slicers, meat grinders
- Internal code: AGWS 1.005.096
Replacement is needed when the machine no longer starts, the lever does not click or does not stay in position, or when burn marks or blackening are visible on the internal contacts: typical signs of a switch at the end of its life.
