20A — 8-pole — 3-position selector switch, with a 5x5 mm shaft, spare part for the controls of food machines. It is the rotary selector that switches the control/power circuits between three positions (e.g. off / run / reverse): with 8 poles it manages several contacts at once, rated up to 20A.

It is a component subject to contact wear and mechanical damage: when the switch fails the machine does not switch correctly between positions or does not start. Replacing it with a switch of the same characteristics (poles, positions, rating, shaft) restores the controls.
