The design is carefully finished down to the smallest detail, with generous radii and no sharp edges, allowing simple and thorough cleaning — also thanks to the availability of the BLC system (carriage locking block), which lets you remove the food tray and its support to gain easy access to the area beneath the tray itself; in this case, a dedicated safety mechanism only allows removal when the slice-thickness adjustment plate is in the "0" position, so that the blade is fully guarded. In addition, this slicer features a ring with gaskets that hermetically seals the opening where the blade-carrying pulley passes through, preventing liquids from entering the inside of the machine.
