The shaft with rotor (part 5) is the motor component of the Mignon electric cheese grater: on these models the motor is an induction motor without a gearbox, so the shaft that the grating roller fits onto is the motor's own rotor. This spare part therefore includes rotor and shaft as a single unit, ready to be fitted in place of a worn or damaged original.
