Electrical ratings: 250V 10A · 125V 16A · up to 1/2 HP. Available in white, red and green (red/green typically for the start/stop functions). It is the machine's start/stop control; the double-pole configuration breaks both poles for greater safety.
Replace it when the machine does not start, the switch does not click over, or the contacts are burnt. Check voltage, current and overall dimensions against the original; electrical work must be carried out by a technician with the machine unplugged.
