The pasta press with six dies is the original KitchenAid accessory (model 5KSMPEXTA) that turns the stand mixer into a genuine pasta extruder for making fresh long and short pasta, driven directly from the mixer's power hub.
- Made of stainless steel
- Includes six interchangeable dies for: spaghetti, bucatini, rigatoni, fusilli and maccheroni in two sizes (large and small)
- Built-in pasta cutter to adjust the length of long pasta shapes
- Compatible with KitchenAid stand mixers, except model 5KSM7990X
NOT AVAILABLE FOR PK70.
The dies should be hand-washed and dried thoroughly after each use, to prevent semolina residue from hardening inside the holes; replace them only if damaged or deformed, since excessive wear affects the definition of the pasta shape.
